About Christmas Office Quiz
The Christmas Office Quiz is a free festive quiz built for work Christmas parties, end-of-year team meetings and virtual socials. There are 60 multiple-choice questions across five categories: Christmas films and TV, music, traditions, food and drink, and Christmas around the world.
Each round picks a fresh random set of questions and shuffles the answers, so you can play several times without repeats. Choose 10, 20 or 30 questions, pick a category or mix them all, and decide whether to use a timer or let the host reveal each answer when the room is ready.
How to Play Christmas Office Quiz
- Choose a category (or All), the number of questions and a timer setting, then press Start the Quiz.
- Read each question aloud. Players call out answers, type them in the meeting chat or write them down in teams.
- With a timer, click the answer the room agrees on before time runs out. In "No timer" mode, press Reveal Answer when everyone is ready.
- Correct answers are highlighted in green. Press Next Question to continue.
- At the end you see how many questions were answered correctly. Press Play Again for a new random set.
Christmas Office Quiz Tips & Strategy
- Use "No timer" mode for big groups or team rounds, so everyone has time to discuss before you reveal the answer.
- Split into teams of 3 to 5 and have each team write its answers down. Swap papers and mark them at the end for a classic pub-quiz feel.
- Play one category per round (for example Films & TV, then Food & Drink) and keep a running total across rounds on the manual leaderboard.
- Keep a few questions back as tie-breakers in case two teams finish level.
- Give a small prize such as a box of chocolates or first choice of the secret Santa gifts to keep things fun but low-stakes.
Playing Christmas Office Quiz with Your Team
For a virtual Christmas party, the host shares their screen on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet and reads out each question. Breakout rooms work well for team rounds: send teams off for a minute to agree an answer, then bring everyone back for the reveal. In the office, put the quiz on a meeting-room screen and give each table a pen and paper. A 20-question quiz takes around 15 to 20 minutes.
Christmas Office Quiz FAQ
How many questions are there?
There are 60 questions in total across five categories. Each game picks 10, 20 or 30 of them at random, so repeat games feel different.
Are the questions suitable for work?
Yes. Every question is family-friendly and focuses on films, songs, food and traditions rather than anything religious or controversial, so it suits mixed teams.
Can I print the questions?
Yes. Our blog has a printable list of Christmas quiz questions and answers that you can use as a paper quiz or as a host's answer sheet.
Do players need to sign up or download anything?
No. Only the host needs to open this page. Everyone else just watches the shared screen.
How long does the quiz take?
About 1 minute per question including discussion, so a 10-question round takes around 10 minutes and a 30-question quiz fills a good half hour.
